How to Rename a Facebook Page?
Thursday, April 25th, 2013
Renaming a Facebook Page is simple when your Page has less than 200. To learn how, please check Facebook Help. But when it comes to renaming or rebranding a Facebook Page with thousands or even millions of fans, it's not easy. Once in a while you acquire a company, or merge with one and you are in a need to change the name of your existing or newly acquired Facebook Page, or rebrand your own product, or simply correct a typo in your Page title. Contacting Facebook is almost impossible, and even when you find an email or submit a contact form, you may not hear from them. As Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer, we can try helping you with any unusual request regarding your Facebook Page title. Please feel free to contact us now.

Profile picture size for Pages will increase
Thursday, April 26th, 2012
Facebook is planning to increase the profile pic size for Pages to 160x160px sometime later this week.
Previously, the profile pics for pages were displayed as 125×125 px. This change will affect mainly those pages, which took the advantage of fitting their cover image and profile pic into a clever position.
We have created this image for better comprehension of how to resize your profile picture. the profile picure file still has to be uploaded in the 180×180 px size. Facebook will then resize it to fit the 160×160 square.

Facebook launched Preferred Marketing Developer Program – and we’re in it!
Monday, April 23rd, 2012
Facebook has lauched the new Preferred Marketing Developer program last week, awarding us the bagde for Apps developers.
Kremsa Digitial has been a part of the previous program – we have joined the Preferred Developer Consulatnt (PDC) group as early as December 2009 – and now we're exicted to be a part of this new development.
Facebook has merged the PDC program with Marketing API (MAP) program, which have until now "…connected brands with developers to help them build apps on Facebook Platform, optimize social plugins, manage ad campaigns, and develop strategies for Facebook Pages." According to Facebook's John Yi, the new program is supposed to bring developers to the right clients and make it possible for any brand or company to find consultants who can work with them to build comprehensive Facebook campaigns and presences.
At the moment we have the Apps Qualification and we're planning to apply and hopefully gain the Pages and Insights too.

Facebook has made an interesting update to their Platform Policies on Tuesday, March 7.
They have decided to remove the ban on hosting media that played automatcially without a user’s interaction on Page Apps. This is interesting news for Facebook Developers, such as us, as it will enable more creative and cool app design and funcionality. The user just has to land on the tab, which can display flash animation. We're looking forward to the possibilities it will give us as developers. Let’s just hope it won’t flood Facebook with obnoxious BUY-THIS-NOW apps.

Poll: Manage Pages permission
Monday, October 31st, 2011
Dear Poll users. Those who are admins of some Facebook Pages noticed that Poll is now requesting an additional permission to allow you to create a new poll for your Page or to promote poll by posting it to one of your Pages. This is because Facebook recently stopped supporting a FBML tag which provided some basic information about user, including what pages he or she is admin of.
Since one day Facebook didn’t provided this information we couldn’t determine which Pages are yours and application was not working for a couple of hours, until we implemented new permission – Manage my pages. Please accept it so Poll can figure out whether you admin any pages and post poll you create under the name of the Page.
To provide us this permission now, please create a new poll now. You will be asked for permission automatically when creating a poll, in case you haven’t already provided it.
We are happy to tell you that we are cooking something cool for you. Soon we will launch an iframe version of the Poll with minor updates in features, and then we will start working on huge update, new user interface and functionality. Stay tuned.
If you have any question about this permission, please feel free to ask in comments area below. Thank you

Facebook Poll application reached 2 million monthly active users
Friday, February 25th, 2011
Since we started rolling up the updates for Facebook Poll, we can see significant growth of monthly active users (MAUs), which just reached 2 million milestone. This keep Poll one of the most popular and useful utility on Facebook. Poll application is now receiving on average 10,000 new likes in a week… we love that you like the app. Also more and more brands are starting using Poll application. Instead of spending thousands of dollars for marketing research they now use Poll and take the advantage of valuable user feedback which takes just minutes or hours to be delivered. And since this week, localization of tab was introduced, local brands are now renaming the Poll tab to their own language. A big recognition is that Facebook itself started using the app on their pages, including Celebs on Facebook, Facebook Live and The Official Facebook Page, which means lot of responsibility but also trust in the application.
We are preparing more updates for you in the first half of the year which should allow brands (page admins) to attract and keep more users on their pages with Poll, not only tabs but also on Wall. Let us know about what features you like on Poll and which would you like to see to be implemented. We love to hear your feedback.
Big thank you to all users from Kremsa!

You can now rename application tab to your language
Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011
Great news everyone! You can now rename application tab to your language, e.g. Poll tab. We had lots of request coming from our Poll application users, especially from Germany, asking for the tab name to be renamed into their language. We as well as other Preferred Developer Consultants forwarded these requests to Facebook and finally, they allowed the renaming of Tabs of Applications. This will allow brands and page admins to create more localized page, especially for non-English speakers. Poll app can be now renamed to Umfrage (German), Ankieta (Polish) or Encuesta (Spanish).

Any Page violating our page name policy will be put through a checkpoint. The checkpoint is our tool to educate you about the policy and gives you an opportunity to change and comply. In the case of some page name violations, we will suggest an appropriate change. Admins can accept the suggestion, appeal it, or request a different name change directly from the checkpoint. We will only grant appeals that are policy compliant and will not allow any exceptions."
